lyrics

Born, commercialized,
lived under judging eyes
I never felt fully worthy
Devout mythology obscured my vision
but I’m starting to see

that there’s a world somewhere waiting for me
but it’s not the one that you showed me
and I know that I’m on my way
I’m looking in to know god my own way

I can’t cooperate
I’m seeing nothing but insanity everywhere
begging me to believe
that as of yet I can’t afford happiness

Well there’s a world somewhere waiting for me
but it’s not the one that you showed me
and I know that I’m on my way
I wanna leave all your greed behind me

Well I know I’m on my way now
I’ve passed the point of no return

Religion and society
Your easy answers offer nothing but alienation
And I do believe free from your influences I’ll finally see

That there’s a world right here turning for me
and it’s not the one that you showed me
and it’s much more incredible
than any story you’ve ever told me

Well I know I’m on my way now
I’ve passed the point of no return
Yeah I know i'm on my way now
I've passed the point of no return
